Art of Trio with David Chevand Rex Cadwallader

Pianist and composer Rex Cadwallader and I have been giving concerts for the past couple of decades under the rubric of The Art of Trio: Intimate Jazz. For this series we invite a guest to improvise and play jazz with us. The spontaneity of our performances over the years has continued to grow. On Wednesday, September 28 we are going to spend an evening playing jazz with guitarist Jim Martin. Jim is a gifted jazz guitarist and teaches guitar at SCSU. Our concert is held at Southern Connecticut State university in Garner Recital Hall (also known as rm. EN-115B) and it begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission: $5 general admission, free for SCSU students, faculty and staff. Come enjoy the spontaneity of our jazz in one of the areas more acoustically resonant spaces, Garner Recital Hall.
